Rosemary is where most people start.

It's the oil that shows up in every scalp-care routine, and there's a reason it stuck: it's light. It doesn't coat your hair or leave you needing a second wash. You can put it on in the evening and go to bed without ruining a pillowcase.

This one is a 30ml bottle with a glass dropper. Rosemary oil in a light carrier base — thin, clear, and barely scented beyond the rosemary itself.

How to use it

1. Part your hair into a few sections
2. Apply a small amount directly to the scalp — a few drops per section is plenty
3. Massage it in with your fingertips for a minute or two
4. Leave it overnight, or rinse it out after 30 minutes if you prefer
5. Two or three evenings a week is a normal rhythm

If you're using it with a misting comb, fill the chamber instead and comb it through — that spreads it far more evenly than fingers can, and you'll use less of it.

Why it works in a misting device

Most hair oils are too thick to atomise. They clog the nozzle on the first try and you end up taking the thing apart. This one is thin enough to mist cleanly, which is exactly why we stock it alongside the comb rather than something heavier like a castor blend.

What to expect

This is a conditioning and scalp-care oil. It softens, it makes your scalp feel less tight and dry, and it makes hair easier to comb through. It's a nice thing to do for yourself a few nights a week.

What it isn't: a medical treatment. If you're dealing with real hair loss, see a dermatologist — a bottle of oil is not going to be the answer, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something.

Yes. Most people do. Put a towel on the pillow the first couple of times until you know how much is too much.

Is it safe with colour-treated hair?
Generally yes, but patch test first and check with your colourist if you've just had it done.
